The Turner
Syndrome is a genetic disorder that is diagnosed at birth or around puberty and
it only affects females. Genetic Disorders have absolutely no cure. This
disorder affects about 1 in 2500 girls. The cause of Turner syndrome
is if the complete or partial absence of one of the two X chromosomes (Read as - Krow-muh-soamz) (sex
chromosomes).
Symptoms of the Turner Syndrome are: Swollen feet, spots on the skin which are discolored, webbed neck with extra skin, low posterior hairline, widely set nipples and swollen hands etc.
